
Jacqueline Thomas, CCEP, is the former Group Vice President and Chief Compliance Officer of Toyota Motor North America (TMNA), where she led the company's enterprise compliance, ethics, internal audit, regulatory compliance, customs and trade compliance, and assurance functions. She joined Toyota in 1999 as a financial projects manager and advanced through leadership roles including Internal Audit Director, Chief Audit Executive, Vice President of Corporate Responsibility, and Chief Compliance Officer. Before Toyota, she held management positions at ARCO (now part of BP) in procurement, financial administration, business consulting, and internal audit. Thomas earned a bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and is a Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP). She is also recognized for mentoring future leaders and championing diversity and inclusion through Toyota's Latino employee resource initiatives. She retired from Toyota in 2025 after more than 26 years with the company.
