Emily Williams is Chief Compliance Officer at Cleveland Clinic, where she oversees the organization's compliance and ethics program across one of the nation's leading academic health systems. With nearly two decades of healthcare legal experience, she has served as a trusted advisor to hospital leadership and as General Counsel for Cleveland Clinic Akron General, Mercy, and Union hospitals. Williams also leads legal support for hospital operations, including licensure and accreditation matters. Before joining Cleveland Clinic, she practiced healthcare law at Baker & Hostetler and Taft Stettinius & Hollister and served as General Counsel at Cardinal Health at Home. She holds a JD from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law and a bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Miami University.
