
Erem began working as a financial analyst for Prudential, a Fortune 100 business, in the United States in 1995. She then moved back to Turkey in 1998. At Koçbank, now Yapı Kredi Bank, Erem continued her career as vice president of strategic planning. She was transferred to Gama Power Systems as CFO after seven years of employment. At The Marmara Group, she is presently the Group CFO and a member of the Executive Committee. She also teaches organizational behavior and project finance as a visiting professor. Erem oversaw the signing of a cooperation agreement with IFC, the World Bank institution focusing on private sector investments, in order to achieve the group's objective of green transformation and decarbonization of the real estate portfolio.
