RJ Scaringe is Founder and CEO of Rivian, the electric vehicle maker behind the R1T pickup, R1S SUV, and electric delivery vans for Amazon.
He founded Rivian in 2009 while a PhD student at MIT. The company went public in 2021 in one of the largest IPOs in American history, briefly reaching a market capitalization above $150 billion, and holds an Amazon order for 100,000 vans.
