After dropping out of MIT at 19, Collison built Stripe into a $65 billion financial infrastructure company that processes hundreds of billions of dollars annually for customers including Amazon, Google, and Shopify — becoming the backbone of internet commerce.
Patrick Collison co-founded Stripe in 2010 with his brother John, building the payments and financial infrastructure platform used by Amazon, Google, Shopify, and hundreds of thousands of other businesses.
Stripe processes hundreds of billions of dollars in payments annually and has been valued at roughly $65 billion. Collison also co-founded Fast Grants and helped launch the Arc Institute for scientific research.
