Langley Steinert is the Founder and Executive Chairman of CarGurus, the largest online automotive marketplace in the United States, and a Co-Founder of Tripadvisor, one of the world's largest travel platforms.

Steinert founded CarGurus in 2006 to bring transparency to used car pricing, using algorithmic analysis to help consumers identify fair deals and spot overpriced listings. The platform has grown to attract over 35 million monthly visitors and generates over $950 million in annual revenue, serving as a critical channel for dealers to reach online car shoppers. CarGurus went public in 2017. Before CarGurus, Steinert co-founded Tripadvisor in 2000 with Stephen Kaufer, helping build the world's largest travel platform, which was spun out of IAC in 2011 and now has a market capitalization in the billions. Steinert is one of the few entrepreneurs to successfully co-found two publicly traded internet marketplace companies-an exceptionally rare achievement. His consistent approach of creating transparent, data-driven consumer marketplaces for major purchase categories (travel and automotive) has produced two category-defining companies that have collectively served hundreds of millions of consumers.
