He previously founded Hinge, the relationship-focused dating app he launched in 2012, which was acquired by Match Group in 2018 and has grown into one of the most-downloaded dating apps in the United States. McLeod's product philosophy emphasized designing dating software meant to be deleted once users found a partner.
