Jared Isaacman serves as Administrator of NASA, having been confirmed to lead the agency after a career as Founder of Shift4 Payments and a pioneering civilian astronaut.
He commanded the Inspiration4 mission in 2021, the first all-civilian orbital spaceflight, and the Polaris Dawn mission in 2024, which achieved the first commercial spacewalk. Isaacman built Shift4 from his teenage years into a publicly traded payments company processing hundreds of billions in annual volume before transitioning to public service.
