Founder of Livongo Health, which merged with Teladoc in a landmark $18.5 billion deal, Tullman is now building Transcarent's direct-to-employer platform delivering curated cancer, surgical, and primary care as a workplace benefit.
Glen Tullman is the Executive Chairman of Transcarent, a health and care experience company, and the Founder of Livongo Health, the digital chronic disease management company that merged with Teladoc Health in 2020 in an $18.5 billion deal-one of the largest digital health transactions in history.
Tullman founded Livongo after his son was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes, recognizing that existing tools for managing chronic conditions were inadequate. Livongo's platform helped hundreds of thousands of people manage diabetes, hypertension, and other chronic conditions through connected devices, coaching, and data analytics. Before Livongo, Tullman was CEO of Allscripts Healthcare Solutions, which he grew from a $30 million company to a $1.4 billion public company. With Transcarent, he is building a direct-to-employer health platform that provides high-quality, curated healthcare services-including cancer care, surgical care, and virtual primary care-as a benefit to workers at major companies. His track record of building and scaling multiple successful health technology companies makes him one of the most accomplished serial entrepreneurs in American healthcare.
