
Starting as one of Google's earliest self-driving engineers in 2009, Dolgov has co-led Waymo from research project to the world's dominant robotaxi service, now operating across four U.S. cities with millions of fully autonomous rides completed.
Dmitri Dolgov is Co-CEO of Waymo, Alphabet's autonomous-vehicle subsidiary, alongside Tekedra Mawakana.
He joined Google's self-driving car project in 2009 as one of its earliest engineers and became co-CEO in 2021. Under their leadership Waymo has expanded its commercial robotaxi service to Phoenix, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Austin, completing millions of fully autonomous rides. Dolgov holds a PhD from the University of Michigan in path planning.
