Unchained pioneered the collaborative multisig custody model, in which client, company, and a third-party key agent each hold one key in a 2-of-3 vault, and now custodies billions of dollars in Bitcoin for individuals, businesses, and IRAs. Bansal holds a PhD in astrophysics from the University of Illinois.
