Chamath Palihapitiya is Founder and CEO of Social Capital, a venture capital firm, and co-host of the All-In Podcast.
Born in Sri Lanka and raised in Canada, Palihapitiya was an early Facebook executive responsible for user growth before founding Social Capital in 2011. He sponsored multiple SPAC mergers during 2020-2021, bringing Virgin Galactic, Opendoor, SoFi, and Clover Health public with mixed results. He is also a minority owner of the Golden State Warriors.
